Hi,
So, this is the half-way mark. Are you
succeeding in applying and integrating these rules into your life?
I must say that my Action Plan collage (Law
3) is continually changing as I “get it right” – for all the
areas in my life that I feel need changing.
I think I am now satisfied with my
healthy/wellness living one but still a few more to complete.
I feel that each law enhances my action
plan therefore it may be a continually changing plan…
6. The Law of Compensation:
This
Universal Law is the Law of Cause and Effect applied to blessings and abundance
that are provided for us.
The
visible effects of our deeds are given to us in gifts, money, inheritances,
friendships, and blessings.
"Everything
flows out and in; everything has its tides;
all things rise and fall;
the
pendulum-swing manifests in everything;
the
measure of the swing to the right,
is the measure of the swing to the left;
rhythm
compensates"
The
Kybalion.
A
tree falls down in the forest, making way for another tree to grow in its
place,
the
fallen tree is burned to make heat, the heat is used to cook food,
the
food is eaten to provide energy for the person, after consumption of the food,
the
human waste goes back into the earth and acts as a fertilizer
which
in turn provides energy for more growth and once again the cycle continues.
Considering
this law works on the principle, for every action there must be a reaction.
If
we give we must receive. This is true for it is a universal law.
What
goes around comes around, if we give charity in the form of money or we give
our time to help someone,
we
will be rewarded. It might not happen immediately but it will happen.
It
should be stated at the outset that the Law of Compensation - KARMA
is
not a law of retribution or retaliation or a 'pay-back' nor a 'benefit',
and
in its negative perception it does not seek to cause suffering, nor in its
positive aspects - joy.
So, it is wise to become familiar with the laws of
nature to avoid unnecessary pain and unhappiness.
Once
we understand for every gain there is a loss, we can free ourselves from envy
and live contentedly.
The
purpose of the law is to bring to our consciousness the realization of our acts
of omission and commission,
the
duality of our being in both positive and negative polarities.
Its
main objective for us is to make compensation for the errors and wrongs
we
have committed and to benefit from the good or benefits which we have provided
for the lives of others.
Once
we have become conscious of these positive or negative attributes of our own
lives,
the
Law of Compensation has been fulfilled.
Once
the good which we have done has been realized, the law ceases to operate until
the next episode.
Some
of the unexplained joys and good fortune, or what some say, is 'good luck'
come
to us as a consequence of the good acts which we have performed in the past and
the negative side is also true.
This
is only a very brief explanation.
Therefore,
the effects of our thoughts and actions generate the Law of Compensation -
KARMA,
and
somewhere and at some time seek an accountability and to establish a balance,
so
to speak, where the plusses and minuses of life find a form of justice.
And
as the old saying goes: "If you dance, you must pay the piper."
The
equities and inequities of life are weighed on the scales of Cosmic Law and
justice.
All
is balanced with duality.
I trust this explains that there is nothing
to “do” with this law – it is in the understanding of it that
our thoughts change and within that you adjust your life accordingly.
Have a wonderfully karmic week!
