Thought for the week - Do you remember Love?

clock May 31, 2009 17:36 by author Michele

Do You Remember Love?

Embrace the moment, no matter what.

You’re only as small or big as you believe you are.

Accept kisses.

Don’t postpone happiness by waiting for another treat.

When life gives you dog food, add water to make gravy.

Run with a joyful heart.

Share what you have.

Love and look out for your pack.

Go fetch your biggest dream.

Nuzzle the ones you love.

When you mess up, say you’re sorry and shake it off.

Love and let yourself be loved.

Be content where you are.

Play every day.

Remember that every time you touch somebody, you change their world.

Will you remember love?

Wishing you a loving week!

May 2009: Choosing the perfect massage/ therapy for me

Hello,I hope you’re staying warm in the current cold climate. Take your Vitamin C and Echinacea to boost your Immune system. A little Zinc won’t hurt to assist fighting off those colds and the flu virus. Try starting off your day with a  1/4 lemon squeezed into warm water—very good for the system. To boost your circulation in this cold weather (yes girls, most of us have cold feet!) try taking more fresh ginger in your diet—add to cooking. Make fresh ginger tea. You’ll reap the benefits.

Have a great month!

Choosing the perfect massage/therapy:

Choosing a healing or relaxation modality can be confusing. There are so many options available at so many different prices.  Which one do you need? Which ones are worth paying for?I have created a diagram (see below) in order to help you with your choice. I’d like to remind you that JuShele has been in business since 2005 and my mission is to empower you to look into your body and heal yourself from emotional, physical, spiritual and metaphysical illness by being the safe channel through which you may work.

Thought for the week - Little Things in Life

clock May 24, 2009 17:33 by author Michele

LITTLE THINGS IN LIFE

Little stones make big mountains,
Little steps can cover miles,
Little acts of loving-kindness
Give the world its biggest smiles...

Little words can soothe big troubles
Little hugs can dry big tears,
Little candles light the darkness,
Little memories last for years...

Little dreams can lead to greatness,
Little victories to success~
It's the little things in life
That brings the greatest happiness...
~ Author Unknown

It really is the little things that mean the most of all...
The "let me help you with that" things that may seem very small,
The "I'll be glad to do it" things that make your cares much lighter,
The "laugh with me, it's funny" things that make your outlook brighter...

The "never mind the trouble" things, the "yes, I understand,"
The interest and encouragement in everything you've planned...
It really is the little things, the friendly word or smile,
That adds such happiness to life and makes it more worthwhile.

Wishing you a week full of little things!

Thought for the week - 10 Life Lessons

clock May 17, 2009 17:28 by author Michele

10 Life Lessons Learned From a Grove of Giant Sequoias
In the hushed silence of the forest deep within Sequoia National Forest, life lessons were whispered from amazing heights as these elderly giants grew magnificently heavenward.

1. Be ever observant and aware of the Majesty that surrounds you.

2. A spirit of wonder and childlike delight will serve you and your community in ways that an adult may not understand until taking action and dwelling deeply in this spirit.

3. Beauty of this magnitude is effortless. It manifests simply by being, not by striving or struggling.

4. Growth continues over time, whether the life span is 15 years, 50 years, 85 years or 2,000 years, like the oldest Sequoias. When growth stops, breath stops.

5. Surrounding yourself with others who share a similar mission and message will increase the effectiveness of each one of you. You will encourage each other's growth, support each other's vision and purpose, and in allowing each other to be who you were meant to be, the outcome is a masterpiece that could not be accomplished as a solo act.

6. Choose the soil you plant your seed in carefully. Sequoias need a very specific soil to root in and remain healthy. Tend your soil. Plant yourself with loving care, not fearful acceptance of what is offered.

7. Delight in hospitality as you share what you offer to people who come to enjoy and learn from you. Spread your beauty and knowledge. Allow others to bask in your shade, soak up your radiance and take lots of notes and pictures.

8. Give shelter and comfort with care and compassion. Invite people to become empowered to their own brand of greatness, without expectation. Gratefully receive the same from someone else in your circle of friends and associates.

9. Remain steadfast and deeply rooted. Do not follow fads or false teachers. Listen carefully. Dance with the wind but do not be swayed by it.

10. Believe that the qualities you possess are truly magnetic. People will be amazed. They will travel for miles to hear the message: to see it, touch it, dwell in it, and breathe it in, deeply.

Thought for the week - Today's Joy was born of yesterday's sorrow

clock May 10, 2009 11:45 by author Michele

TODAY'S JOY WAS BORN OF YESTERDAY'S SORROW

Who said the "darkness of the night"
Would never turn to day;
Who said the "winter's bleakness"
Would never pass away.

Who said the fog would never lift
And let the sunshine through;
Who said the skies now overcast
Would nevermore be blue.

Why should we ever entertain
These thoughts so dark and grim,
And let the brightness of our mind
Grow cynical and dim.

When we know beyond all questioning
That winter turns to spring;
And on the notes of sorrow,
New songs are made to sing.

For no one sheds a teardrop
Or suffers loss in vain;
For Spirit's always there to turn
Our losses into gain.

And every burden born TODAY
And every present sorrow,
Are but Heaven's happy harbingers
Of a joyous, bright TOMORROW!

Wishing you a week of bright tomorrows!

Thought for the week - Reach for Your Star

clock May 3, 2009 11:33 by author Michele

REACH FOR YOUR STAR

Do not take anything as being forever,
because forever is only as long as today.

Know that the people who are the richest are not those who have the most,
but those who need the least.

That we are at our strongest when life is at its worst,
and at our weakest when life no longer offers a challenge.

That it is wiser not to expect, but to hope,
for in expecting you ask for disappointment,
whereas in hoping, you invite surprise.

That unhappiness doesn't come from not having something you want,
but from the lack of something inside that you need.

That there are things to hold and things to let go,
and letting go doesn't mean you lose,
but that you acquire that which has been waiting around the corner.

Most of all ...
remember to use your dreams as a way of knowing yourself better,
and as an inspiration to reach for your star.
