October 2009: Self Care and Time Management

Hi there,

Do you find it hard to manage your day in such a way that you have time for yourself? When you take time for you do you feel as if you are taking it away from your family? We do have to get up in the morning. We have our jobs to go to and our duties to do. It can seem like the twenty-four hours in a day is never enough. Yes, this is a reality!I know we all struggle with this one and it is a very interesting subject so read on to better understand and manage this dilemma.

Much love, Michele

Learning to Nurture yourself:

Mysteriously when we learn how to nurture ourselves and take good care of ourselves, guess what happens? Somehow magically we create more opportunity in the day to be productive. Through self-care and self-love we become more relaxed and then our moments somehow expand. When you are in the middle of an incident or accident it seems like the moments go on forever in that instance. That is an example of how time can be altered. As we create a place in our schedule for self-care and moments to fill our being, those moments actually create more time.

So now the question is: What you would like to do with your newly created time? I can hear your mind already: "Oh, I would do this - or this - or this!" What I want to ask you, in all the things that you would do, how many of them are for yourself?Much of your day is filled in doing for others and discounting time for yourself.I wish to assist you with your dilemma by advising you and encouraging you to create fifteen or twenty minutes in each day where you create a ritual. Then in this time do something that is entirely self-filled.

For example: having a cup of tea while watching the flowers; going for a gentle stroll; watching the stars and the moon...This is not being selfish.  As you do this, what will happen is you will begin to experience that you find you have manifested more time. Then stretch the time out and book a Nurturing massage or a Relaxing Reflex with me and find how this allows you to completely de-stress and puts you in a place where you can face the day and all the others you give to on a daily basis…

Try it, and see what happens! Let me know the results…Wishing you a wonderful month of finding ways to spend time with You!

S.Naidu Midrand tells of her Antaneea experience with me:

· How did you feel before coming to me? Without balance, mixed emotions, unable to connect to my spiritual side

· How did the therapy heal/assist you to grow/heal (physically/emotionally/spiritually)? In all aspects, I have learned that in order to help myself I have to look at creating harmony from within and am now able to keep away negative energies and ask the angels to assist those who need help. I am not taking on the problems of the world and am feeling happier, lighter.

· What could you do after the therapy that wasn’t possible before? Am now able to keep away negative energies and ask the Angels to assist those who need help· What stood out in the treatments that you have not experienced anywhere else before? Transferring of energy.

· What made you choose me? I believe that you choose a therapist that you connect with. Personality and the way you spoke made this decision for me

Thought for the week - The First Step Is the Hardest

The First Step Is the Hardest (© Max Stein)

If you can get up the courage to begin,
you have the courage to succeed.

Begin where you are, work where you are.
The hour which you are now wasting,
dreaming of some far off success,
may be crowded with grand possibilities.

The first essential of success is that you begin.
Once you have started,
all that is within and without you will come to your assistance.

Do not wait.
The time will never be "just right."
Start where you stand,
and work with whatever tools you have at your command.
Better tools will be found as you go along.

Eighty percent of success is showing up.

Wishing you a week of beginning!

Thought for the week - You Are What You Do

clock October 18, 2009 11:01 by author Michele

You Are What You Do (© Max Stein)

The beginning of a habit is like an invisible thread.
Every time you repeat the act you strengthen the strand.
Add to it another filament with each repetition,
until it becomes a great cable
and binds you irrevocably to each thought and act.

First you make your habits,
and then they make you.

Your thoughts lead you to your purpose.
Your purpose always manifests into action.
Your actions form your habits.
Your habits decide your character,
and your character fixes your destiny.

Your habits are either the best of servants or the worst of masters.

Wishing you a positive-habit forming week!

Thought for the week - Positive Conditioning Leads to Success

clock October 11, 2009 10:59 by author Michele

Positive Conditioning Leads to Success © Max Stein

You choose to condition yourself to be positive.
Being positive is an attitude that you can develop.
Your attitude and your mood will always be under your control.

Learn to block out any negativity that surrounds you.
Negative people will drain your spirit and your desire to be successful.
Surround yourself with positive people and their attitude will rub off on you.

Strive to live in the present.
The more difficult your environment the more positive you must be.
Forget your past failures and your anxieties of the future.

In the middle of any difficulty lies your opportunity.
It’s all in how you look at things.
You have the chance to be a king
if you have the heart to stay positive under all circumstances.

Wishing you a week of positivity!

Thought for the week - Attitude is Everything

clock October 4, 2009 10:56 by author Michele

Attitude Is Everything © Max Stein

What happens to you is less significant
than what happens within you.

Two forces are at work around you, external and internal.
You have very little control over external forces such as hurricanes,
earthquakes, disasters, sickness and pain.
What really matters is the internal force.
How do you respond to those disasters?
Over that, you have complete control.

No one on earth can hurt you,
unless you accept the hurt in your own mind.
The problem is not other people; it's your reaction to them.

You cannot always control your circumstances.
But you can control your own thoughts.

Wishing you a week of internal awareness – and success!
